Applications Now Open for the 2026 Grant and Scholarship Program

The Clan Forbes Society is proud to announce the 2026 Grant and Scholarship Program—an inspiring opportunity for individuals dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Scottish culture. Whether you're mastering the bagpipes, studying Gaelic, researching Highland history, or competing in Highland games, this program is designed to support your journey.

The Clan Forbes Society will provide up to $500 in financial assistance for members actively engaged in activities, training, or academic pursuits that reflect the richness of Scottish heritage. This support may come in the form of sponsorships for cultural events or competitions; scholarships for formal study or training; or reimbursement for expenses related to Scottish cultural endeavors.

This program is ideal for students pursuing Scottish studies, folklore, or language; artists and performers specializing in Scottish music or dance; and athletes participating in traditional Highland sports.

Applicants must be members of the Clan Forbes Society and complete an application form that includes a description of the cultural activity, training, or study; summary of past experience in the field; plans for continuing the activity in the coming year; an explanation of how the grant will be used; how the applicant will promote the Society’s support; and a commitment to submit a written report to the Board of Directors.

The deadline for the application is December 31, 2025. The recipients will be notified by February 27, 2026. Submit your completed application and any supporting documentation to president@clan-forbes.org.
