The Legendary Forbes Nose
When asked if there was any trait that distinguishes the Forbes family over the many generations, Forbes Clan historian, Alex Forbes, answered, "Of course, the legendary Forbes nose?" In fact, if you review the portraits of notable Forbes in the People section of this website, and here, you'll see that it is true. But what was truly stunning to me was to look at a photograph of my father, Charles Campbell Forbes, and see that it is the same nose!! I'm no geneticist, but apparently these physical traits can last over 10 generations or more!
